Autumn is here!
The year seems to be flying past in the blink of an eye, and we can’t believe it is October already. It has been a busy few weeks here at Care Wyvern, and below is just a bit of what we’ve been up to.
At the start of September, we celebrated Professional Care Worker’s Day. We are thankful for our amazing staff every day, but it is great to have a special day dedicated to them and to celebrate all their hard work. Staff were gifted a card and a bottle of prosecco to thank them for their continued efforts throughout the year.
As well as this – one of our carers, Zoe, shared with us a lovely poem written for her by one of our clients;
Towards the end of September, we held our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning, with lots of cake, coffee and games to raise money for such a worthy cause. Staff in the office baked some lovely cakes and played ‘Dunk the biscuit in the Tea’ – raising £43.77 for Macmillan. Well done everyone!
As September draws to a close, we welcome a new set of carers! Currently undergoing their induction and training with Tina & Kerry – in a few weeks Charissa and Carly will be out and about in the community, caring for our clients! Welcome to the Care Wyvern Team ladies!
